Explain Physics Po

Global research university Sciences Po has high standards for its students and is highly selective. It is considered to be among the top universities in the world for the humanities and social sciences.

Emile Boutmy, the founder of Sciences Po, set out to establish an institution of higher learning that the affluent of the day lacked. After expanding over the course of 150 years, Sciences Po's research program currently enrolls 14,000 students worldwide. However, the primary goal of education remains to increase our comprehension of the world in order to effect positive changes in it.

Sciences Po is unique in that it challenges many worldviews while combining different methodologies. Because of its varied approach and long history, Sciences Po is a place where ideas are implemented and public conversation is actively engaged.

 A GUIDELINE TO ENSURE ACCOUNTABILITY

Preparing future leaders in the public and private sectors is Sciences Po's primary objective. One of the main objectives of our curriculum is for curious and receptive Sciences Po graduates to "learn how to learn," regardless of their area of interest or career path. But we aim even higher: we want to create enlightened, tolerant individuals who have the capacity to transform both the world and society.

A UNIVERSITY THAT VIEWS THE WORLD

The foundational documents of Sciences Po established the school's global reach across numerous countries. After being motivated by this objective for nearly 150 years, Sciences Po has established a reputation as a premier institution with internationally recognized degrees and research, a diverse community, and a vast global network of collaborators. Science and technology are two areas in which Sciences Po is known for being leaders.

EDUCATIONAL IMPACT AND PROFESSIONAL IMPLANTATION

The top social scientists and practitioners hold regular conversations at Science Po. Among the more than 4,000 members of our academic community are 2,400 practitioners. As a result, the information we teach students is grounded in both cutting-edge research and real-world experience.

A SINGLE AND A UNIVERSITY

At Sciences Po, admission to the school is determined by a student's academic standing. Nevertheless, it was one of the first French universities to really embrace its social responsibilities by promoting intellectual, geographic, and social diversity among its student body. At Sciences Po, which admits students from about 150 countries and provides financial aid to four out of ten of them, all abilities are welcome.

Global Understanding Studies

Sciences Po is an internationally renowned research institution specializing in the social sciences and known for the excellence of its scientific output. Sciences Po research is developed with a strong focus on society and is meant to be discussed in public.

A DYNAMIC ENTITY AND A FUTURE ENTREPRENEUR

Since its foundation approximately 150 years ago, Sciences Po has consistently reinvented itself. Above all, Sciences Po is now a place where creative ideas can be brought to life and executed. Innovative teaching methods, academic transparency, and creative tools are some of our defining characteristics.
